Visiting in Lavonia

Each year we welcome lots of visitors for Big Times in our Small Town. Now, we don’t host large Conventions, NASCAR Races, and College Football games: but, we do host Family Reunions, Lavonia Speedway Races, Fishing Tournaments, and folks come to enjoy our relaxed way of life – getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life. They come to stroll through the many antique stores, relax and play in beautiful Lake Hartwell, and in the month of June they make their way to see Land of Spirit, Franklin County’s Folk Life Play. Oh yes, we have a Spring Festival the first Saturday in May – a fall festival the last Saturday in September, Christmas Fest in December – Art and Quilt Shows during the Winter and during summer months we have The Farmer’s Market and Main Street Music Concerts.
