Waste Water Trunk Line OFF I-85 – City Manager Gary Fesperman introduced/reviewed a proposal to install a 15” sewer trunk line under I-85 to increase sewage capacity for current and future commercial/industrial use along Hwy 17 at and north of I-85 intersection; also discussed funding options, including grants and loans; also discussed potential business closings due to Hwy 17 DOT project, relocation of city utilities due to Hwy 17 DOT project, and associated estimated costs.

Waste Water Operator – City Manager Gary Fesperman reviewed with Mayor and Council the possible need to employ a waste water operator in the future to oversee the waste-water plant and lift station maintenance, versus continuing to outsource the job

Water Department – City Manager Gary Fesperman introduced a proposal to move the water department to the armory motorpool; Mayor and Council discussed applications received for water superintendent position, and possible candidates for interview
