Public Notice

In accordance with the Georgia Open Meetings Act, as amended, Volume 50, Chapter 14, notice is hereby given; The Lavonia City Council, along with other appointed officials and city employees, will attend the Georgia Municipal Association's 2004 Mayor's Day Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, January 24 - Monday, January 26, 2004.  The purpose of this conference will be to attend continuing education/training courses required by Georgia Law, as well as attend briefings on major legislative issues affecting cities.  Officials will also have the opportunity to visit their state senators and representatives during this conference.
