NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

 

                On the 2nd day of August, 2004, at 4:30 pm, at the City Hall, Lavonia, Georgia, a hearing will be held upon the Petition of Curtis W. Lawson and Judy L. Lawson, Petitioners, to rezone from R-1 to B-2, the lands at 30 Baker Street, in the City of Lavonia, Franklin County, Georgia, being more particularly described as follows:

                All that tract or parcel of land, with improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the 206th District, G.M., Franklin County, Georgia and in the City of Lavonia, Georgia, fronting a distance of 244.9 feet on Baker Street, and bounded on the Northeast side 266.1 feet by the right-of-way of Hartwell Railroad (f/k/a Southern Railroad), on the Southwest by the right-of-way on Jones Street 325.0 feet, and on the Northwest by property of Cockran (formerly Beggs).  The lot herein described and conveyed is more particularly shown and delineated on a Plat prepared by Clelland A. Tyson, surveyor, March 24, 1994, and recorded in the Clerk’s Office, Superior Court, Franklin County, Georgia, in Plat Book 24, at Page 175, which Plat and the record thereof are by reference incorporated herein as part of this description.  All having an interest in this Petition should be present.
