CALLED COUNCIL MEETING – JUNE 3, 2004

A Called Council Meeting was held on the above date at 5:30 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor Ralph M. Owens, Don Canady, Eddie Floyd, Jason Macomson, and Kay McGlennen. Also present were: Chris Hollifield and John Holden with Rushton & Company, City Manager Gary Fesperman, and Angela V. Greer, City Clerk.

Mayor Ralph Owens welcomed everyone to the meeting.

The purpose of this meeting was for the presentation of the 2003 Audit by auditors Chris Hollifield and John Holden of Rushton and Company.

Chris Hollifield explained the audit to Mayor and Council and advised them that the City of Lavonia has obtained an unqualified “clean” opinion and that the City of Lavonia was in financial shape. A copy of the audit is on file.

Mayor Ralph M. Owens adjourned the meeting at 5:56 P.M.
