The regular meeting of the City of Lavonia Mayor &
Council was held on the above date at
Mayor Owens called the meeting to order and welcomed everyone. Brandon Niemyer, Youth Pastor of the Lavonia First Baptist, gave the invocation, followed by the pledge to the flag.

Motion by Jason Macomson to oppose the Alcoholic Beverage License for John Perez at the Mexican Restaurant in Dill’s Shopping Center, motion dies for a lack of second.
Motion by Eddie Floyd, seconded by Don Canady to approve the Alcoholic Beverage License for John Perez at the New Mexican Restaurant located in the Dill’s Shopping Center. Motion carried, with Council member Jason Macomson opposing. Councilmember Jason Macomson asked for a roll call vote of the council members as follows: Eddie Floyd – yes, Don Canady – yes, Kay McGlennen – yes, and Jason Macomson – No.

Alcoholic Beverage License for Simran Management, LLC, owner Sarabjeet Kaur at
