Lavonia Chamber of Commerce

From the President's Desk, 

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to join the Lavonia Chamber of Commerce.  As you know, the chamber is an association of business and community people concerned about improving the area in which they do business. As our area of the county continues to grow we as a chamber are dedicated to become a more active chamber by providing area businesses support and a voice in planning and developing new Chamber programs and activities. 

 One of the new benefits of joining the chambers is a newsletter that helps businesses keep current with community news.  We are also partnering with North Georgia Technical College to offer classes that hopefully will benefit your business.  For chamber members that wish to lower their workers comps costs we are offering start-up and training information for the Georgia “Drugs Don’t Work Program”.   And the chamber page on the city web site is being updated to include links to chamber members.  As you can see, we are working hard to promote business in Lavonia in lots of ways.  All of these projects are aimed at achieving our goals.  Please help us grow as well as show your support for Lavonia by joining the chamber today. 

 I want to stress, that it is really every one of our members that keeps our organization going whether you attend meetings, volunteer time, or simply pay your dues.   Not everyone will be available to attend meetings regularly or volunteer for special projects but every new member offers fresh ideas and enthusiasm that keeps the momentum going. We hope that you will consider joining with us in promoting and supporting business, civic, cultural and educational growth in our community.
